4th of July Parfait
Looking for an easy July 4th dessert to bring to a party? Try individual parfaits in fancy plastic cups. This parfait has 39 grams of protein and is less than 400 calories. This would be yummy with a Bailey's Strawberries & Cream Liqueur drizzle over the top. Who am I kidding, a drizzle, HA - I would put a full shot of it!
This is a dessert that you can enjoy and not feel guilty eating afterwards. A great addition to the granola would be shredded dark chocolate or chocolate covered straweberries.
Let's make the parfait you'll need:
1 1/2 cups of Oikos Triple Vanilla Non-Fat Greek Yogurt - GF (you can use any kind of yogurt)
1/4 cup Sunflower & Pumpkin Gluten Free Granola - Back to Nature
1 tbsp Sprinkles
1/2 cup sliced strawberries
Start with the yogurt in the bottom of the glass, then layer the granola and sprinkles. Repeat until you reach the top of the glass. You can top the parfait off with fat free whipped topping and a drizzle of agave or what ever you like.
