Who Knew?

Two things I can't live without, my K-cup machine and Dunkin Donuts Creamer. I always struggled to get the protective foil wrap off of the creamer and lets face it, in the morning, everything is a challenge before coffee,

I wanted to take this opportunity to share a trick that I learned recently. When stopping for a quick cup of coffee, I was the unfortunate one that had to open a new creamer. It reminded of me that I had "Mom Powers". We all know how great those powers are. We're the only ones that know how to change the empty toilet paper roll or start the dishwasher. The powers that you'll never see on a resume but are needed to succeed in life.

Having a difficult morning, I was attempting to open the top of the creamer looking for a corner to peel back. A nice lady came over and said, "You don't the secret do you?" I looked at her with an eager look, thinking she was going to tell me she found the Fountain of Youth or had the secret to the winning lottery? Instead, she graciously smiled and took the top off the creamer and pushed the top into the foil.

Did you know that the top of the creamer is the EXACT size to punch thru the foil? Now feeling stupid, I smiled and thanked her for showing me the secret. Take the top off of the creamer, you'll see a raised shape that will break thru the foil.

Never again, in my pre-coffee slumber will I have to struggle to open the top of the creamer. This maybe information that you know already and for others it may provide their "AHHH" moment like I had.
