Get ready, get set....BAKE
Cooking is an art and baking is a science. We've all heard this said before but how true it is. We can guess-ta-mate the amount to put into a sauce but baking has to be exact or the recipe will fail. If you're like me, you can never convert ingredients on the spot and need something to reference. So here goes, keep this handy when you start your holiday baking:
1 Gallon = 4 quarts or 8 pints or 16 cups or 128 ozs. or 3.8 liters
1 Quart = 2 pints or 4 cups or 32 ozs. or .95 liters
1 Pint = 2 cups or 16 ozs. or 480 ML
1 Cup = 8 ozs. or 240 ML
1/4 cup = 4 tablespoons or 12 teaspoons or 2 ozs. or 60 ML
1 Tablespoon = 3 teaspoons or 1/2 oz or 15 ML
Print this out and keep it in sight when you start baking.
Enjoy and let's get baking!
