Pumpkin Pie Martini
A perfect sip of pumpkin pie for all those who don't bake. You know who you are and no worries, I got you. Let me start by saying this is in no way low in calories but neither is its sister dessert the pumpkin pie with whipped cream. After drinking these calories, you won't care about the caloric number, how many you've consumed, or who is washing the glasses.
This drink should come with a warning, they go down extremely smooth and you don't taste the booze! You may want to have one before you sit down to dinner if your in-laws are joining you for dinner. Somehow, it makes their unsolicited opinions so much better.
Let's make the delightful, you'll need:
3 tbsp pumpkin puree
3/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
4 oz Vanilla Vodka
4 tbsp International Delight Pumpkin Creamer/ pumpkin pie spice
2 tsp old-fashioned molasses
3 tbsp heavy cream
Whipped Cream to top with a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice
lemon to rim the glass
crushed graham crackers
Mix everything in a martini shaker and gently shake. Rim the glass with the lemon and turn it into graham cracker crumbs to coat the edge of the glass. Pour the martini directly into the center and top with whipped cream. Sprinkle pumpkin pie spice on top of the whipped cream.
I like to think the little guy has a bigger smile now that he tasted this delicious drink. Go slow little scarecrow, they're strong and this is only the first weekend in October!
Let's start a new tradition, let's drink our pumpkin pie!
