Breakfast Bread - High Protein

Looking for a low-calorie, high-protein FAST breakfast? This delicious breakfast bread is made with Devotion Protein Powder. Once cooled, I'll wrap the slices individually and freeze them. Grabbing a slice of bread to enjoy at my desk with a cup of coffee, is a perfect start to my day.

This is a base recipe, which means, you can make it your own. Don't like blueberries, try cranberries, or any other seasonal fruit. I bet making this in the Fall with apples and cinnamon, would be delicious.

Here's the recipe:

2 small bananas (ripe and smashed)

2 scoops Devotion Angel Food Protein Powder

2 tsp baking powder

1 tsp vanilla

1 cup oats

2 eggs + 4 egg whites

1 cup fresh blueberries

2 tbsp. chia seeds (flax seeds work)

1/4 cup Lily's SF White Chocolate Chips

1 tbsp Splenda Brown Sugar (on top before baking)

2 tsp lemon zest

Combine the ingredients in a bowl and preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a loaf pan with non-stick spray before putting the batter in. Once the batter is in, sprinkle the sugar-free brown sugar on top.

Bake for 60-65 mins (you may have to cover the bread the last 10 mins if too brown).

This can be toasted before serving or enjoyed with whipped cottage cheese for more protein.

115 Calories per slice with 26 grams of protein. Add whipped cottage cheese, light cream cheese, or top with high-protein yogurt. It makes a great way to start your day.
